Chill It

Ideally, it should be within 24 to 48 hours after you suffer the injury. Furthermore, remember that you cannot apply the ice pack for hours at an end. You can only apply it for a maximum of 20 minutes.
Keep Moving
When you start experiencing back pain we know that you would only want to do one thing. This would be to lie in bed and not do anything. But we would never advise you to take such a step. That is because this can only worsen the pain in the long run. Therefore what you need to do is keep moving. If you had a pilates session scheduled, then make sure to attend it. You also need to get on with your daily activities. However, that does not mean you should tax yourself either. We would ideally advise you to stick to your daily routine without doing something out of the blue.
Wear Flats
When you are suffering from back pains it is never a good idea to wear stilettos. We would ideally advise you to avoid all heeled shoes. Instead, you should simply stick to flats. That is because heels would go on to place even more pressure on your spine. This would therefore only end up worsening the pain that you are experiencing.Back pains are never a joy to experience.
